Our Purpose & Mission
Vintage Christian Church is a non-denominational church here in the wiregrass which seeks to bring the gospel of God to all people, build believers up in the truth of God and bless all people for the glory of God.
Our church is an orthodox, historical and biblical church which is God centered, Christ exalting and Holy Spirit empowered. We are a community of Christians who seek to share real love, proclaim real truth so that real people everywhere can experience real life with the real God both today, tomorrow and forevermore. We invite everyone to come just as they are and be prepared to leave eternally transformed!
Our Story
Vintage Christian Church began with a small group of committed Christians who started meeting every other Sunday morning in Pastor Sam’s home. We then started gathering every Sunday morning and as our numbers grew, we began seeking a location in which we could assemble to worship God. After much prayer and hard work, we began meeting in October of 2023 at our current location of 1505 Hartford Highway, Dothan, Al.
Our Leadership
Vintage Christian Church is led by a plurality or group of Elders/Pastors who have the calling, character and competence required according to 1 Timothy 3:1-13 and Titus 1:5-9. The Elders are tasked with overseeing , guiding, governing, caring and shepherding our members. No Pastor or church member receives a salary and everyone works hard out of love for God and love for one another to serve and use our gifts in order that God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Sprit alone may be magnified! We have monthly membership meetings on the last Sunday of the month after our worship service where we discuss church business and allow all members the opportunity to share any ideas or concerns.
